I did check out the Charger too and was told by friends to avoid it due to the transmission.

It's kind of hard to compare a Charger to a 370Z in that regard. Even an SRT Charger isn't going to handle as well as the Z, though the feeling of the launch in the SRT is nice.

And I have to agree kenchan, my own experiences with rentals on business trips makes me miss my Z often. But I like driving new vehicles, so it's nice to see what everyone else is doing in the automotive world.

We own between the GF and I, a few nice vehicles, and I can relate to this for sure. Most of my company rentals are of the 'BOAT' nature, Impalas, Fusions, Chargers, Etc. My driver is a Lexus IS250 and it's nimble and quick, which is nice, handles really good almost on par as our Z in some aspects, however when we get in the Z it's just like the poster said above, like a go cart. I love the difference, but in the same regards I like trying new machines too as it let's me see what else is out there.
