Appreciated my Z today
Drove a friends Charger today, it was like turning the Queen Mary!
I must admit it's gangster fine inside though, felt like I was sitting in a leather recliner floating down the road. I had to push the pedal to the floor to get it to move. Then, later I got in my Z and it felt like driving a go cart...so freeing, responsive, and really a "Z"en experience after driving that Charger. Anyway, it's nice to have an experience like that to make me appreciate what I've got. |

When I bought the Z I was looking for a car to have some fun in. I gave the charger a test drive b/c I was thinking about a V-8 but that fuel efficiency craptastic cylinder cutout crap totally ruins it. They are nicely appointed but everyone has one and they are like boat in terms of driving dynamics.
Z was definitely the right decision for moi.

We have a suburban and two demolition trucks at work. After driving them for a week in OR, I felt the same way. I have been driving my dad's 335 and El Dorado the last two weeks. I'm interested to see how I feel about my Z next week.
I'm missing the hell out of it!

I honestly expected more get up and go than it had, but it's pulling 2 tons probably. |

I wouldn't doubt for a second that felt like a boat. I probably wouldn't get anything less than the SRT in the Charger for it to actually be fun like the 370. |

Others may feel differently but when I drove my cousin's Camaro, it felt like I was driving a ship. The agility was just not there. Then I got back in my Z and the difference was amazing.

Driving Experience!
I really don't have much to compare it with. I've had Suburbans all my working life. My wife got me this car! How 'bout that! I was looking for something fun to drive.....she saw this Z , red convertible, and said "I want you to have this car!".
Could be happier! |

I test drove a '13 RT before I bought the 370. I did not feel fast for 370HP, it handled like the yacht it is. Brakes were vague, steering completely lifeless. Though it sounded great, and was CHEAP. They offered me a fully loaded 2013, FULLY loaded, every option out there for $27 OTD.

I borrowed my buddies Toyota Sienna van. I kept thinking I was about to tip over. Mid turn with the height of the van, leaning left and right, felt awful. If the Z leaned as much you'd be heading off road, as something just broke.
