Well that was with play around money, im planning on doing everything in one go.
And im not sure if its the internet and the tone comes off wrong.
But could you guys just let up a tad on the judging and slightly patronizing comments.
If they arent meant to be like that then it doesnt matter but if you guys could just kind of, let up a bit, its hard to post when your expecting people to bash you on your decisions.

When your decisions seem out of context with the problems you're already having (such as a rusting body panel, which should negate the entire thread really), or are debating about things that after reviewing other costs associated, the total value seems a little low, it becomes one of those "if it's too good to be true, you're getting screwed" deals.

A quality paint job is Not cheap, no matter what it is usually. And for an entire body kit, anything sub $1k is questionable... I would ask to see other vehicles they have done a similar job on to see the quality for myself.

As for me, I am an audiophile, and I have a DD HU and Amp/Subs. I love it. I understand it's the equivalent to having a dead hooker in the trunk in terms of performance, and that's kinda cool. But I made sure that with 3 wires, it's disconnected and I can pop the whole box out for tracking.

Plus, if you're still driving around on your summer tires in snow and ice, any body work is pointless because you're just going to bend the car up again. You have bought appropriate tires and wheels, correct?

A good set of winter wheels/tires shipped to your door ready to mount with all necessary hardware will cost you, maybe $1200. Depending on which wheel/tire you choose...

Before you decide, get better numbers for the kit install-paint and fixing the rust of course. Don't just count on your own estimates. Either way, seems like you still have a balance on your car loan. Why don't you pay that off first?

Get a quote from a GOOD body shop. One with nice cars in the lot. One that has positive word of mouth. I guarantee it'll cost more than you think. I also guarantee it'll look worse than you think if you go to the place that gave you the original quote.

I paid roughly around $7k for my shine auto Amuse kit...rims.. coilovers and paint and install. I say fix your damage and get some audio

Yep that ship sailed months ago.
So then I should fix my car and spend a bit more for audio then it seems.
That would be the smarter choice. And yea if i did get the kit i wouldnt be able to stance it. So with this new ideas. im leaning towards repairing the car and audio. And since its rusting already would it be better to cut and re weld? instead of banging it out and bondo?
