Is this thread just for you to "brag" about having a full optioned Z roadster, and that you think it's better than all other Z models?
No dork. The initial thread was an observation on the sense that the roadster, to me seems quieter than the HT. And no **** it has more options, thats what I paid for. Simply stating that I missed my options and for the price of a 2014 HT sport it should have more options.. read into it what you want..

so you are saying you like the options/package/equipments on your fully loaded roadster...?

I bet you did mislead many.. many.. people here thinking you are bashing the coupe....

well, you pay for what you get, thus of cause a fully loaded feels much better than a base...

but saying the roadster is quieter than the coupe....

Means I was grateful that the dealership put me in A Z as a loaner but hey, it seems louder in here

Means that I kept hearing noises behind me that I wasn't used to hearing in my Z because the vert has a wall behind the driver and the coupe had the open area of the trunk. To override the noise of the trunk I cranked up the factory Nissan radio and it made me appreciate the Bose, even though the Bose dose not sound that great in mine either. ...

Im thankful they put me in a Z, but I miss my baby. ..
I picked up the loaner and it was 40* outside so I went to turn on the seat heater, nope. Couldn't reach the peddles and reached for the power seat switch, nope.. It made me miss my options that I had taken for granted..

SO

No where in any of that do I bash anything. No where in there did I say the vert was better than the coupe. No where in that did I say mine is better than yours.

I'm not here to make enemies, I'm here to hang out with people that share my same love of the freakin Z, vert or coupe it doesn't matter. . Do I love my car, dam right I do, but there are many on this forum that I would love to have as well. I was lucky enough to fall into a loaded vert for the same price as a base coupe and I took it. That makes me lucky, not better, and dam sure not a basher of any. ..

You are lucky, I had to settle for a left over 2011 base that I purchased Oct 2012. Mine does have the Sport pkg and rear camera. I added a Kenwood and upgraded the speakers along with dynamat in the doors and trunk.

Wish I could afford a loaded Roadster ST.

I never understood why Nissan didn't give the touring coupe cooled seats like the Roadster. Ill take that over the heated seats since my Z isn't driven in the winter anyhow.

As far as noise difference, it's due to the hatch vs trunk on the vert. Hatch creates this megaphone effect.

Yea looking back, I should have skipped the Bose.. upgrades are difficult and expensive..

A nismo and a fully loaded convertible z are basically the same price brand new and to me it was all about personal preference thats why i went hard and im loving it. I really like the convertible but with the top up it appears there is no streamlined slant to the roof like hard top. I love the roof slant on hard, from the side it looks more aerodynamic.

Could not agree more. It took 3 hours to finally decide on the vert. They had it next to the loaner HT im in now.
I found a rear spoiler for the vert that really compliments the body line and changes the overall look with the top up. I definitely love the HT look compared to the vert, but like I said, it was way too good of a deal to pass on.

on another note though, if i lived in a warmer climate then i might have considered the convertible but living in canada thats not gonna happen. The top would only be down for 2 months of the year-lol

I was confused upon reading, what is a 2013 Roadster ST? So I bing it and get a motorcycle with 3 wheels. 2013 Roadster ST - Bing Images

Does ST stand for Soft Top? Roadster means convertible. Is there one without a soft top?
