Is the 370Z really THAT loud???

I said this before too. Do you think Ascari or Koenigsegg owners complain that their cars are too loud? No one who wants a sports car should complain about hearing

Do you think Ascari or Koenigsegg owners complain that their cars are too loud? No one who wants a sports car should complain about hearing the engine. The car and engine sound great. There is some road noise which may be what the reviewers are noting. It's not the end of the world or a car-killing fault. You'll get used to it quickly.
