If this is still true, I'd say the Z is not a good car getting to and from school. High school or college, your parking lot is not going to be a place you want to sit your sweet Z for a day. And you won't be riding with friends. You'll be riding with A friend.

Several people I know have both cars, and really like the Evo's

I would test drive both and figure out what works best for YOU

I will say that after having my Z as my only car for 6 years it has been nice since I bought a daily to also have a car with a backseat. I feel like the Evo does a good job of combining the functionality of a four-door car with the sportiness of a sports car so if I ever had to just have one car again it would be a good choice

I have driven both, and I prefer the 370Z. As others have said, if you need AWD for the winter, or really want a backseat then obviously the evo is a better choice.

Edit: The 5 speed sucks for long hauls
