1. Exas
2. Mine's
3. Zele

AK370Z 12-18-2008 11:16 PM

I had to go with exas evo. Rolled tip with a titanium finish =

shumby 12-18-2008 11:17 PM

you need an others option for yet to be released exhausts

so you don't like none of the above?

shumby 12-18-2008 11:32 PM

i do like one i voted for but I will wait for FI to come out with theirs.

MC 12-18-2008 11:41 PM

nismo or zele

diskreet 12-18-2008 11:44 PM

I voted Mines, but I'm more interested in the Greddy Ti-C or Greddy SE.

xDIEGOx 12-19-2008 01:58 AM

I love the clean looking NISMO exhaust . I've never been a fan of the titanium finish.

sensi09 12-19-2008 05:10 AM

Exas, Mines or Zele. Other than the Mines though, not familiar with the other brands.

For myself, looks are an important criteria, but sound and price are also large deciding factors.

Out of those three, I'd get the cheapest one, along with the one that had the least amount of drone. I'd factor in HP gain and weight afterwards.

Endgame 12-19-2008 08:45 AM

Nismo or Mines.....

But, my choice will focus on performance and sound quality.

SnakeBitten 12-19-2008 08:46 AM

Mines looks the best to me. Im sure its very pricey though.

jetnoirZ 12-19-2008 09:55 AM

so zele is the only true dual.....ok i pick exas and zele

dutty370Z 12-19-2008 10:07 AM

I'd say the central with a better rear bumper/valance. But I'd have to hear them all too. If it sounds like a riced up escort... Then no

Mines appears to be a true dual. The only reason I was not fond of Zele was due to the 4 exaust outlets.

ETHANSER 12-19-2008 01:48 PM

EXAS EVO Tune Muffler

IF IT DOESIN'T COST TOO MUCH:tup: I'LL GO WITH THE EXAS BUT IF IT DOES I'LL GO WITH THE NISMO.

blackdragon 12-19-2008 02:16 PM

zele or mines, i personally like zele alot more, i wonder if stillen is going to come out with a center exhaust again...but what would they do with the rear fog lamp

LiquidZ 12-19-2008 04:35 PM

Exas or Mines.

3SeventyZ 12-20-2008 06:32 PM

Thats a tough one..
hmmmm..

I think Id go with the Zele based on looks alone.

jibSTir13 12-20-2008 08:01 PM

i'd like to see what the hks carbon-ti looks like.

given the choices i would choose the mine's or the exas.

TacoZ 12-21-2008 12:56 AM

I would like to attend a 370Z meet and hear all of the different exhausts in person. Then I will decide which one I like best. Of course we might not get a lot of 370Zs until probably a year or two after it is released LOL.

sbkim 01-19-2009 08:36 AM

No offense but why do most of these setup features coffee can size exhaust tips? Anyone offer with OEM tips?

Cown3d 01-19-2009 08:54 AM

zele...
exas close second

frost 01-19-2009 11:35 AM

Where is the option for straight pipes? :icon17:

Z34drifty 01-19-2009 11:11 PM

I have to hear them all but right now I'd take the Nismo or Mines

If i remember correctly, I voted for the Zele. The question is, will that exhaust require modification of the stock bumper? I see two places for exhaust outlets and the Zele has four tips.

Edit: Answered my own question by clicking the Zele link.

SoCal 370Z 03-02-2009 11:30 AM

Mines looks to be the best designed/fabricated, NISMO will not be an issue with warranty; Stillen sounds the best to date of those we've heard. The factory oval/angled tips are the best looking; Mines comes in second; HKS third.

Why is the HKS video so limp? The guy doesn't even gun it on the departure.

Fast Intentions!

par4bmw 03-02-2009 05:17 PM

I voted Stillen but it is only based on if they offer slant tips.

Just hoping the tips do not stick out too much (unconfirmed) as the last thing I want is my wife clipping an exhaust tip with a shin—party over, and so will the tips.

^^^^^^ helll ya

arcticreaver 03-03-2009 05:22 PM

nope, warranty is still good, however just your catback will not be honored under nissan warranty.

on the upside, most aftermarket catbacks offer lifetime warranty on their parts..

so, you will still be covered one way or the other...

Plasmaball 03-04-2009 03:22 AM

why would one get a aftermarket exhaust?

shumby 03-04-2009 03:23 AM

^^^ is that a real question? Or are you being silly?. Really I want to know cuz I will answer if it is a real question.

Plasmaball 03-04-2009 03:25 AM

no i am serious, i am so overly new to this stuff....

shumby 03-04-2009 03:31 AM

OK no problem.
Every one starts somewhere.

Youwill hear people talking about HFC's, test pipes, Cat back exhaust Exhaust, y, H, and X pipes and mufflers.

IN most cases you are replacing the parts to allow the exhaust to be more free flowing. This inturn will alow the engine to develop more horse power. This is usually done with larger diameter tubing and less restrictions/bends in the piping. along with a freer flow muffler. After market systems also tend to weight less making your car lighter.

As well as added power some people like the sound different exhaust systems make.

fo more detail go on to a few web sites like stillen and fastintentions just to name 2 and read what they have to say about their systems it will help you understand what they are trying to improve in the car with each part they make.
