You seem to forget what forum you're on! This place hates on anything that isn't a Z.

Vette definitely isnt overpriced. In my opinion, its a fairly cheap car for what you get performance wise, it's just not my style, just like the Z wasnt the OPs.
Congrats on the new ride. Enjoy! |

I've owned 24 cars. Only 2 of them were Z's. I'm not hating on his choice. Just said it wasn't for me. I do feel it's overpriced. More directly towards the price they cost new vs the rapid depreciation the vehicle suffers. Let that be disputed, I'll wait.

No, I think that one's still at Stoudt's. I live only a couple miles from there. He has nice inventory, but doesn't like to deal on price much.

I have always thought of Vettes as grandpa cars, I'm 53 and that opinion hasn't changed much. I've never seen a young guy driving one, but I guess that's an opinion not a fact.
I don't begrudge you wanting one but they just never have appealed to me, don't know why, they are definitely badass haulass cars for sure. If you like having one I'm proud for you. Stick around and keep us up to date on your experience. |

Have fun with the Vette, sorry you never connected with the Z.
I have to say the Z06 has grown on me, mainly ones I've seen that were black on black, but friend had a beautiful ZR1 Vette in red with lots of CF and that thing was beautiful. Interior was much improved on the last one (not as cheap looking) Honestly if I had to consider another sports car and it wasn't a Z, it would probably be a Z06 with a ZR1 kit or an Audi TT RS

If I go 'vette, it will be a C7.
The OP got a faster car for little money. Nice job.
