Name the ONE thing about your Z no other car has

We have all driven fast cars, other sports cars, or in some way experienced things that the Z has in it that we love. But when you got your 370Z surely you found several things about it that are unline no other vehicle you have ever had. Sure some things are the same, maybe the shifter reminds you of another car, maybe the nav is like any other nav, or maybe not. Once you have settled in, there must have been one thing, just one, that stands head and shoulders above any other vehicle you have driven and lifts the Z to a completely new level. Maybe it's something very simple, or maybe it is something very detailed. But whatever it is, it has struck you like no other auto has. And you smile just a little extra when you experience that subtle difference.

So what it is for you? What stands out like no other auto? What ONE thing is something you have never had anywhere else? And if several factors are unique as I suspect, what ONE thing tops them all? Please share here what has make a mark in your mind and heart, so that we may see what you see as well, and we may know what keeps you smiling.

For me it is rather simple. When I turn on the headlights I am awash in a seal of perfect light. The beam in front and beside me is a perfect level, at the perfect height, all around me. No more orange half-circles with limited visibility, unaligned headlights looking for a place to point. My 370Z headlights shine out an ocean of light touching all that is in front of me and enveloping every object on every curve. Seeing the photons generated light horizon actually takes my breath away and was the most moving feature of driving the Z thus far. And as of this evening I have 993 miles on her.

What is yours?

LMBmikeZ 11-29-2013 10:22 PM

for me it is the look or the body lines so sexy :yum:

I find myself always looking back at the Z after I park it just to get another look before I go! I did it to me Z32 as well but the Z34 I do every single time!

Red__Zed 11-29-2013 10:25 PM

Wait your favorite feature is the headlights?

No, the beam that it generates.

m4a1mustang 11-29-2013 10:29 PM

Pretty sure other cars with HIDs do the same thing. :p

Nope. Had them on other cars (Hondas) and while the color is nice they never put off such a perfectly level and complete sea of light as the Z.

LMBmikeZ 11-29-2013 10:38 PM

:iagree: I gotta agree with you because out of the 4 cars we have at our house the Z has the best lighting when on the road

jmin725 11-29-2013 10:43 PM

truck engine noise.

Of course. Best lighting in any car under $50k. I understand they were engineered by Jules Fisher.

gbrettin 11-29-2013 10:53 PM

Personally... I like the rigidity of the door; it's solid like a Miata.

:)

I love the raw mechanical sounds it makes. I thought my Evo was raw sounding, but the Z takes it.

what…. what's that you like driving your car in straight lines??? :stirthepot:

:bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl: our car could drive circles around your V8 then again that's an unfair comparison as mustangs can't even turn, no steering wheel just straight line drag strip runs :roflpuke2::roflpuke2:

Hey, I know you're a fanboy and all, but even you know that isn't true. My old 5.0 would run circles around my Z. :bowrofl:

That's a lie, too. You'd buy and sell and be a very rich man. :hello:

I like the seatbelts. They're really clicky and stuff.

Akmcmahon 11-30-2013 12:32 AM

Dat azz!

exsanity 11-30-2013 01:11 AM

I bought mine for the back seats..

Riptide67 11-30-2013 01:16 AM

I always found the rear strut tower bar behind the seats to be a unique feature. Loved it is my Z33 and Z34. Although, I am unsure if any other sports car has a similar setup.

DavidZ370 11-30-2013 01:17 AM

Limited Trunk space... grocery shopping is no longer an issue :happydance:

I can't say they're any better then my 12 regal GS or 11 hid subi. They do need adjusted up though from the factory. on the highway at night its not enough to see ahead safely.

Gadgetech 11-30-2013 05:58 AM

The Z on the wheel is cool. I think it's the only car I've had that has the actual car name rather than the car brand. This is the only car I've had that'll break the tires loose in 3rd, has a 0-60 time around 5 sec, makes me smile everytime I crank it up. I do have a sport bike so I've experienced speed but nothing close in a car before. In regards to the headlights, my wife drives a 328 with the HIDs that follow the road. They are pretty cool but the lights on the 370 somehow seem better.

 your what?
Cannot decipher if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

On topic: my Z has ME behind the wheel. And that is what is unique about Harry.

Jeffblue 11-30-2013 11:00 AM

The fact that it has no low end power but does not rev that high.
