Help please!
Sorry for posting this again I meant to post here first but i posted in the Texas discussion thread first.
So I was driving my Z today and as I was about to merge on the highway I accelerated into redline with my 3rd gear. I shifted right at fuel cutoff and then slapped it into fourth however my car turned off completely and i loss all power. Pulled over on the shoulder of the service road and then attempted to turn on my car.. did not work. Opened the hood and inspected everything, no loose connections and no funny smells.. Reset the ECU with the accelerator pedal and then on my third try it turned on but the car was vibrating like CRAZY and RPMS were fluctuating between 1.2k and 400 and it was shaking inside the cabin, so I turned it off and got it towed home.. Taking it to Nissan tomorrow.. Im so confused.. Anyone know what happened? Thanks for the help |
Fuel starvation? Search is your friend.

I thought the fuel pump might be messed up but that was just a complete guess..

Right turn?

Was you flying on the on-ramp, and it's a tight right hander? And you have a 1/2 tank or less of gas in the tank? If so, you have just experinced fuel starvation. And welcome to the club. Add a couple of gallons of gas to the tank, and try to start it, before you take it to the dealer. ;)

in case your dealer can't find the problem tell them to check this
I think you broke the little wire sensor inside your throttle bodys. Is that what they are called????

Even if street racing were cool, discussion of such is still against site rules.
