Sorry no pictures. But finally got my Fog lamp installed and working as I had initially planned.
Ordered lamp from a NISSAN dealer in Canada and had it shipped. Due to a real lack of usable fog in this neck of the woods, having a functioning fog lamp only, would have been a place to collect dust. So instead I have it wired, with a relay, directly in with the brake lights. It's function is set-up as follows: When the brake is depressed the fog lamp will blinks 6 times then holds a solid light for 3 seconds and then blink 3 times and holds for 3 and so on and so on until the brake pedal is released and then the process starts over again. Now it a usable, safety oriented, very functional tool. Thanks to a number of folks on this forum for their suggestions and assistance as I was getting this process to work as I imagined. Cheers, ![]()

Sounds very cool. Do you think you could upload a video, the pattern that you are using is very interesting and it would be nice to see it in action.
Also - congrats on taking down ManU at Turf Moor. I almost fell out of my chair during the goal, it was amazing and very nice to win your 1st game at home vs a quality opponent. |

Cheers.....It was brilliant game. It was a nail bitter near the end, but a sigh of relief at the whistle. Everton this weekend I will try and get a video going on the weekend and will pass it along. in Texas a blinking red light light in the rear with no more than 8 blinks in a row is legal. Hence the 6 blinks and the stall pattern.

I'm a new 370Z owner (had it about 2 months) and am interested in installing the fog lamp with the module from flashingbrakelights.com . Based on your description of the way yours functions it appears that you may have used their module. Can you describe how you wired yours? A diagram would help but pictures would be better if you have them.
Thanks |

Here's a daytime and nighttime picture of mine. Mine is wired up to the license plate light so it doesn't do anything special....just a solid light on whenever the parking or headlights are on:

Actually, I had a shop do it for me since I had a few things I needed them to do for me. I don't believe they did because they had that light installed extremely fast from what I remember and they didn't mention to me that they had to remove any part of the bumper. I believe if you wire it up to work with the brake you will need to remove one of the tail lights? Not 100% sure on that but I believe I saw that in the DIY section under rear fog light install.
