First year watching. Hope they give specs and close ups of these 370z track cars. Looks interesting.

Damn just watched first episode. Soon as they said they were leaving New York City and going somewhere they didn't know, I new it was going to be Monticello motor club! I wish I had $120,000 to be a Gold member!

Just watched it. I finished the top 1100-1200 or something like that which i thought was decent enough. I would have liked to have ran the real car part against some of those guys though.

I noticed some of the instructors were the same guys nissan hired for the NISMO Academy events

What were the qualifications? Buy the game and a driving simulator?

I don't know what happened but it didn't record last night. :roflpuke2: :shakes head:

I thought the episode cut short on me since it didn't end with credits or anything. But it looks like the episode is only 27 mins. If you can find it on YouTube, watch that. The commercials/ads are painful on Spike.tv.

I am really looking forward to this. But the one thing that blows me away is showing up to something like that and not knowing how to drive a manual.....

1100-1200 is very good! I thought I was pretty good too until I compete online... I was like 5000 something.:shakes head: Sometimes I wonder how they can be almost 10 seconds ahead of me. Lol.

I went back and watched the first two seasons that I had not seen before. I really liked that they were 1 hour episodes, kind of a bummer that this new season is only 30 minutes.

first time watching...was surprised and very glad to see the cars were my choice, magma red...thou, with so many sponsor "stickers" and so few actual moments in a sun lite, still, situation, it was hard to perceive 'our' choice...

the fact that the expects thought they should beat up the cars was enlightening and gave me hope i haven't yet screwed mine up yet w/a few miss shifts...

the filipino dude from north vegas (my city) was an embarrassment, dude...what was you thinkin' drivin' a 6MT...i was rootin' 4 youse...?

Ok, I'm curious. On the show they say Nismo as niz-mo whereas I've always said niece-mo. How do you guys say it?

It's pronounced Jizz-mohhhh

Niece-mo. The "Ni" in "NISMO" should be pronounced the same way you say the "Ni" in "Nissan".

People understand both, so I suppose it's not that important. In the UK people pronounce Nissan with a short i, in the U.S., people pronounce it with a "nee". I don't expect it to be perfectly universal. Watching English-speakers agonize over Asian transliterations gets old.
