Those cars are overpriced and overhyped. RWD? Check. Lightweight? Check. Fast? No. A DC2 Integra R from the late 90s packs almost the same punch. I wouldn't be surprised if that little FWD could keep up, or even beat the FRS at the track.

I would rather purchase a used HR Z33, Z34, Evo, STi, Miata, S2K, etc., for the price of a new BRZ. The list actually goes on. Hell, for $10K more, you can get a Ferrari 308 GTB/GTS. Magnum P.I., anyone?

A $35k Ferrari from the 1980s? What could possibly go wrong?

LMAO. But seriously, I don't care. I will have my old Ferrari or Porsche in a few years as my "retirement ride" . Not even cross-shopping for a BRZ, FRS, or whatever. Mid-life crisis my @$$.

A few years back I got drunk, called my bank, and applied for an auto loan to buy a 355 Berlinetta. Surprisingly, I was approved for my $80K and immediately started calling dealerships . I woke up the next morning wondering why I had a ton of emails with Ferrari pictures, monthly payments, etc. Then I drove my Kia Credos to work.

I still love the 355 more than just about any modern Ferrari. It's just timeless.

Yeah, Ferraris aren't that out of reach. Ok, back on the FRS/BRZ debacle. No, overpriced, overhyped, and slower than an RX-8. Need I say more?

Lol.

As for the BRZ/FRS.

Really has a tiny feel to it, only sat in one. That whole feeling of driving on the edge I imagine is cool, but you are driving at the edge with 200hp...yawn. It does seem over priced too for what you are getting.

I mostly see 20 somethings here driving it or some late 30's early 40 types.

I think what makes me laugh the most is I'll see a FRS going ape **** in traffic, zig zaggin etc...I'll get close and then whoops...all calm, maybe even getting behind me lol...so I feel like the boss...untill a 911 or M3 comes along

the good is... you just saw emails and pictures...

could be more confusing if there's a Ferrari actually sitting on your driveway..!!
