kenchan 10-28-2013 09:21 PM

I'm just glad car makers are realizing there's a place in the market for light, nimble rwd coupes again.

Z is a "Lifetime Achievement Award" car for a grampa, who's raised and educated kids, provided for his spouse and comfortably retired!

Z is for the accomplished successful father who does not need to play taxi for his kids and the lot of friends they hang around with, as they are driving their own vehicles.

you'll do fine in the Z.

Arrogant bastard. That's when you loose the edge. Mr. Palmer sir -- my wife calls my decision to buy the Z as mid life crisis. What do you have to say to that?

I would agree with this, but remember what generation is getting older now.
A lot of these people grew up with AE86 or Datsun 240z so for them a RWD Toyota 4 banger might be the "best" they can go for with midlife, because they never learned to save or generate any net worth to play with.

Z is the car for a dad who's still single and avoiding finding out about his kids until they're well past 18.

(It's a common joke I make, so it kinda falls flat when you don't know me in person, but just go with it!)

Justice97 10-29-2013 08:59 AM

going with it

this is very true i thinks. a member from another forum found these stats and it was pretty interesting. :)

out of this bunch our 370z is the hardest car to keep for a dad with family cause he would need at least
another car to do daily tasks...given he is a responsible dad. :icon17:

at least for me, it's not easy owning a Z and having 3 other cars to take care... while raising 2 kids. not enough time. :rofl2:
