Anybody got the Data on this bad boy?

the Juke NISMO-RS is coming with 270hp which isnt bad at all. thats a 73hp increase from the base Nismo.

Any one else think we can expect a similar percentage increase for the Z? (im doubtful)

Who is expecting what for this bad boy?

Will Nissan copy Chevy with the Z/28 pkg? stripped out and properly fast? or just another ******** pkg..

The Juke is actually pretty fun to drive (on Sport/turbo mode). If they actually produce a 270hp Juke, I'll trade in the 4runner since it is gutless.

for some reason I dont think we will see a NISMO RS Z until the Z35
just seems counter intuitive to put anything else into the current platform

Looks like it'll be a 2015 C7 for me.

saw this before, i just hope it's true about them dropping the weight down to the 2800lb mark and keeping the current power levels cause IMO that would be just perfect and if they decide to go with a turbo 4...well just makes it that much easier to extract some extra power :D ...last time i saw this discussed though it turned into pretty much all negative posts concerning the Z35 even though we know next to nothing about it and everything is just rumours right now :rolleyes:

People crying in the comment section that they might not offer a V6. Who cares. It can have 300 mice on wheels running a generator if the car performs great.

More speculation. Let's hope it is a good car at any rate.

If Nissan can offer a Juke Nismo w/270+ hp, AWD and a 6 or 7 speed manual tranny I may consider buying one.

But it's still an ugly soccer mom SUV crossover.

I think the Juke is the UGLIEST piece of sh*t vehicle I've ever seen in my entire 30 yrs of life. I thought the bug eye WRX was ugly but this thing tops it!

That's exactly what I thought. Tweaking FI is just fun and easy to add HP.

Juke is funner than hell. Took my Z in for some serious warranty work and the loaner they gave me was a black Juke. Drove it for 4 days and man what a fun little bug/beetle/car/hybrid whatever the hell a juke is. I bet there is not a car on this planet that can get 6+ bags groceries faster.

They had the Nismo Jukes at the Nismo Performance Academy. I have to admit I was like everyone else that thought they were stupid and ugly. They may still be ugly, but they are fun as hell to drive. The seats in the Nismo Juke are also better than our seats in the 370Z IMHO.

I have not seen many women driving these. As mentioned the Nismo Performance academy had these for the autocross portion and a lot of us actually thought it was more fun to drive than the Z. Now add 75HP, that would be a good time!

If they would give the Juke a facelift (front-end), and offer manual AWD tranny, I would be down for that. 1.6 turbo pushing 270hp, AWD in the snow would be fun.

They do or did offer the AWD in a 6spd manual. We looked at them but the wife wanted the auto

Maybe they do but 215 hp nismo rs juke is the reality not 270.

In the comments to that article, one of the dudes called the front of the 370 a "Catfish"...

I'm in my garage looking at the front of my 40th (that is where my cold weather smoking pit is) and low and behold...
with the fangs, and the 40th color, this car looks like a catfish. lol

Which is cool because I love catfish! Great breaded, fried, and served with lemon. ;)

I like it, especially the new 370Z-esque Gator eyes. If they paired the 6MT with AWD I'd be all over this thing.

the juke is an odd looking car, but it has character.

Like driving a taller, heavier MINI Cooper. It's like a chick that's a 7-8 in the looks department with some quirks (maybe a lazy eye here or there) but she's got a lot of personality and she makes up for her flaws with enthusiasm.

My biggest gripe is a decent amount of torque steer, can't wait to sample the RS when it hits the lot.

Did somebody say z35? Shall I start up a new thread about it and see how many of my old friends from our famous 'Tokyo auto show reveal' thread show up? Lol
