Not really actually. Make sure you are using the same type of dyno when making comparisons. Dynojets would be best as they have the least amount of variables. You'll see that there is significant gain(20-30whp) with the new engine......obviously depending on many other factors aside from the dyno being used.

While I have not looked for or been interested in dyno numbers, I can guarantee you 370Z is a lot faster because I traded in my 350Z for it. Walked out of 350 into 370 and really stepped into a different world. This is the case at least for 7AT. I only drove a few 350Z with 6 speed long ago and I can't make accurate comparison to 370Z 6 speed but I can tell you that 370Z 6 speed is also a totally different beast comparing to 350Z AT.

I had both a 6MT and 5AT Enth 350, and drove a used 08 350 before I hopped in the 370. Not even close, interior is just icing on the cake.

350s avg 235whp stock on a dynojet, 370s 270-280, not even close. Tell whoever is feeding you this BS to put the pipe down.

I am about to book in my stock 370 for a run on a Dyno Dynamics setup in the next week or so and just want to clarify the results that you US guys are getting.

Stock

Power - 270hp at the wheels? (200kW in metric money)
Torque - You guys measure in foot pounds right? (Newton meters in metric)

Gear - 4th or 5th gear?

It should be run in 5th gear as this gear is the 1:1 ratio in both MT and AT. 4th gear will produce inaccurate power figures.

Can you post a dyno graph for our comparisons please?

thanks
Darren
