I'm looking to buy a Z from another private seller. He added the Tein suspension added and also an oil cooler. I don't really care for the suspension upgrade, but

I'm looking to buy a Z from another private seller. He added the Tein suspension added and also an oil cooler. I don't really care for the suspension upgrade, but I was wondering why he added the oil cooler. He told me it was recommended by Nissan to keep the oil temp down cuz it has the same problem as the G35? I've never heard of this before when I had a G35
