I don't know if this is in the correct section. But I would like to know how many of you keep your window sticker for the Z?

Also, is it possible to get another one from the dealership. I had mine in the glove box but I had an accident and the car was getting fixed it disappeared as well as the cover for the tow hook. I asked the owner of the body shop about it and he told me that his employees do not open the glove box for any reason. I'm more upset about the window sticker than the tow hook cover since I have a tow hook license plate holder. I just wanted to keep the window sticker because I think its a nice thing to have especially for a car like this.

Any suggestions if its possible to get another one from the dealership? Thanks

I took my window sticker off. When you say window sticker are you talking about the yellow one on the driver side window? If so that thing got taken off the 1st night.

I always keep the window stickers.

I keep them for every car I buy new and it goes with the car when I sell it or trade it in. I bought my Porsche used and it had the window stickers in the glove box, I figured it was karma since I had been doing it for so many years.

I do not know how to get them once the car is off the lot but I would try the dealership where you bought it and see if they can help you out.

I don't think mine was yellow but by window sticker I mean the sticker that has all the options that your Z came with as well as the MSRP price.

You may be able to get a build sheet from Nissan. Duplicate window sticker might be more difficult. Call some of the bigger dealers or Nissan USA.

Yep. I feel more comfortable if I get a window sticker when I'm buying used from a private party, because the guy who keeps the sticker also usually has a bunch of other documentation.

That's good karma! Yeah I like to keep them too I was really upset when I saw it was missing I looked for it like crazy at home just in case but I'm sure that I left it inside the glove box. This made me really upset that the body shop would take it. :shakes head:

I have a service appointment with them tomorrow I'll ask them and see if its possible.

Ohh.... you guys are talking about Dealer Invoice (Window Sticker). Not the yellow warning window sticker. Ya keep the Dealer Invoice (Window Sticker). That shows specs. I keep all the ones I bought cars for. There was another sticker my car came with it was yellow and was on the corner of my driver side window that stated warining something about theft.

Otherwise known as the Monroney sticker.

Yes dealerships can get you another one but it's the process is kind of a bitch since it has to go threw a lot of people but yes sometimes they get destroyed in the reconditioning process and we have to order another one for the customer.

I kept mine and placed it next to my 300ZXTT sticker. I came home to find my new window sticker folded into quarters, and the 300's thrown away. One of the few times the little lady decided to clean my office. :shakes head:

Yep - I keep all of them. Laminated. And the newest hanging on the wall in my office at home.

Thanks for the information. This is a relief to know that I can get another one. Hopefully my Dealership will colaborate and don't give me a hard time abuot it. :tiphat:

If I'm able to obtain a new one I will definately be doing that from now on.

Nope threw mine out. Didn't have room for it and my collection of receipts for everything else I purchase in life.

Can anyone post a good scan of a 2009 Sport Touring MT?

I kept mine. It wasn't even on the car when I picked it up. It was folded nicely in the dealership folder.

I need some help. my oem window sticker [monromey] got lost by the dealer and i want one .nissan dealers can get them but i have not found a dealer who knows how or wants to do it for me at any price ,so i am hoping one of our members has done this and can give me a referral .thanks
