Another basic question - windows down, car off - easy way to get them up?
Is there an easy way to get the windows to go up without having to shut the door and start the car? (I don't remember if "on" will do it or not, been a while since I've done this, just I remember last time I restarted the car, more than likely because pushing the button to ACC then to ON didn't work)
Minor annoyance... ;) |
yeah if the door is open keep your foot off the clutch push the start button twice so it is on "on" and they will roll up
|
And if your out of the car and leave the windows open you need to only insert the mech key and turn to lock and hold it for a sec or two the windows will also close. This in the owners manual.

Thanks! |
Haven't touched it since, but that doesn't mean it couldn't have answered your admittedly easy question as quick or quicker than waiting on an on-line post.

Yeah, I carry my manual with me everywhere I go, even when I don't drive it to work...:icon14: |
It could be argued that we're all "a piece of work" but thats besides the point and I digress. My apologies if I offended you
My point merely being that in the 20 minutes between first post and answer had you had your book it would have been answered. I was of course assuming you were in proximity to your car, as very few enthusiasts don't have their manual with their vehicle for emergency answers. Failing that, there's the PDF manual on this very site. Its answered most of my questions and I'm not even an owner yet. |

But hey, the only stupid question is one that doesn't get asked. |
Some members don't mind some questions. It's the how do I start my car or turn my lights question that get some started. happy motoring :driving:
