Automatic Temperature Control
Maybe this is covered in the manual, but I use this a lot...
I set the fan to auto, the temp 3 clicks to the left of "75", and the zone to auto (or bi-level if my feets aren't cold enough), and set it to recycle interior air (because most of Tulsa stinks...) Anyhow, one thing I've wondered - is it modulating the AC on/off, or maybe at a reduced rate, or, is it cycling engine coolant through the heater core to raise the temp? |
If the outside temp is hot and the climate control with the ac is turned on it will cycle the compresor on and off and off as needed to control the temp inside. if you don't turn on the ac and it's colder outside the the climate control on it will open the heater valve to circulate warm water through the heater core inside the car the temp that it was adjusted for say it was set at 72 it will warm to 72 as an example more info can be found in the owners manual.
