Baseline butt dyno to after mod butt dyno works best of all. There are enough baseline dynos out there to get a good idea of where you are starting, so an after mod dyno worked well for me and my budget (yeah, too cheap)!

Nah, Modshack Paint dyno is way more accurate than real dyno or butt dyno.

I must agree, those were most impressive!

Sorry guys, but here is my take on Dyno #'s for the sake of just running a vehicle on a dyno. It's like whipping your wang out to brag & thinking it's going to be huge, when you might find yourself disappointed to find out it's not as big as you thought.
Peak hp means nothing, if you are losing torque & power elsewhere or it's not trackable. Now dyno tuning & gearing for a track, specific track is better imho or to look for power in your style of driving makes sense. Take AutoX, peak hp is not going be useful if you are giving up power down low for launch & exits.

Sorry guys I see this dyno thing way to much in the bike world & it means nothing if it's not usable.

Independent dynos > dynos from the shop selling their parts

More dynos to determine range of typical gains > fewer dynos and wishful thinking my numbers match expectations

Data that tells me if my money was well spent > Speculation over what my butt feels

You can examine changes under the curve as well as peak gains.

Dynos provide useful data

Where is, It's too late I've done my mods for a baseline.

I WISH it was feasible for me to dyno before and after any mods I do. But I'm not a baller by any means, and I don't even know any shops around here that have dynos.
Wouldn't trust any that I find with tuning either for that matter.
