Thought that was frowned upon. I used the search button so i would not have to create a thread that was already talking about the issue.

Different "issue", way too old of a thread to bring back. If it's from like a couple months ago it's no biggie, but this is from 09.

Now I have a problem with jerking at low RPMs also when driving in jammed traffic. Driving in 2nd gear, the car in front brakes, I let go of the clutch slowly (didnt want to go to neutral because the car in front would move pretty damn soon) and everything is fine, and then it jerks like 1 second later for maybe 2 times until the car in front moves and then I apply more gas then its fine and then it would happen again. The funny thing is it happens sometimes and sometimes it's smooth. Its my first manual car, so anyone mind sharing your experience on driving in jammed traffic would be much appreciated !!
You're doing fine. You just need to get a feel for when you should disengage the clutch before it stalls. Unless your nearly stopped, below say 5 mph, leave the clutch engaged in 2nd gear or drop down to 1st. You will only stall when your pretty much stopped. Also, I like to keep a big space between the car in front of me in stop & go traffic so I don't have to downshift to 1st if possible. People will take advantage and cut you off, but you just have to let it go.

It's not a 100% remedy, but you will have less bucking with more practice and experience. Good luck

Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just my car?
I've had that also on my '09 Base automatic, especially when I first start out at a modest speed in the morning. I've been repeatedly assured it's normal and nothing to be concerned about. If I put a little more gas on, it doesn't seem to happen.

I think you need thicker skin. You bumped a 2-yr-old thread. That's what I poked fun at. It's nothing personal. I hope you get an answer that satisfies your need. But I'm still going to have fun.

No biggie. Just irritating on why the car is doing that. Maybe it is normal. This is the best car I have ever owned, coming from a GMC Sierra and a Scion TC.

I will poke an old thread... My roadster felt the same way... until I installed the Stillen G3. Feels like a different car. Seriously.

I also noticed this issue. I thought it was my shifting also being that I haven't owned a manual in several years. I replaced the stock air boxes with JWT Pop Charger and that made a huge difference. Until I read this though I just figured I was getting better with shifting again.
