chii370 09-21-2013 11:50 AM

yeah saw this too on their site. shame the 37 year old owner didnt have his midlife crisis a little bit later after they finished the nismo 370z exhaust. that was shaping up to be the best on the market as far as sound. oh well, im happy with my ark.

Baer383 09-21-2013 11:55 AM

I guess my PJDM shift knob will be a collectors item.

For sale used PJDM shift knob only $1999.99:icon23:

Someone should jump in and buy them out

rAiN 09-21-2013 12:08 PM

Word, all the resources and knowledge they had earned being in a market as a part production Is kind of a waste being shut down.
Maybe its another good oppertunity for smaller company to become big

Honestly though, their business isn't worth that much in my opinion though.
Problem is that they don't have the best products, fit or finish, and either they don't charge enough, and/or they make too many products for too many cars.

So... Yeah, I don't know what to say exactly

simota1 09-21-2013 04:32 PM

i just read this also.. on fb so sad.... but on the underhand... there shrouds had really really shitty gel coat and fitment was also not the best

:iagree:

The CF job I did on my rad cover was way better than the Password JDM rad cover I recently received. Not to mention the PW JDM rad cover doesn't fit worth a damn on my car. Major modification needed...

6MT-Z34 09-21-2013 05:29 PM

Carbon Signal or Carbon Fiber Elements Should buy them out since they make really good quality and fitment cf parts for our cars.

Wonka2581 09-21-2013 08:50 PM

So is it worth getting a cooling plate??

dAvenue 09-21-2013 08:56 PM

Their cooling plate isn't worth a damn because it doesn't fit. Don't waste your money.

If you're handy with tools, you might be able to make it work.

Evo Izzy 09-21-2013 11:02 PM

Tried buying a shift knob, seem to be all sold out!

Waiz 09-21-2013 11:23 PM

If a company is closing that doesn't exactly make me want to buy anything from them

Anyone know what happened?

Trips 09-21-2013 11:25 PM

Mid life crisis

If you're going to be in business why would have one and leave your current/potential customers hanging?

:shakes head: he's talking about the CF piece they offer on top of the radiator, although you may be using sarcasm...

I'm sure that's the only semi-quality part they had

If they go out of business, where am I supposed to buy underhood CF parts that cost a lot and don't fit worth a damn?

I really want to email them again and ask if they are ever going to send me my replacement radiator cover they promised 2 years ago. :shakes head:

Do it

Chuck33079 09-23-2013 10:12 AM

The best part is that I asked FBNissan if they fit better than they used to since I was considering buying a set. They said yeah, they fit great. All problems have been solved. A few days later, someone posts that theirs don't fit at all.

Yeah, I don't think they ever "fixed" the design, just said they made revisions to keep sales going.

They won't respond. I emailed them last week regarding their worthless cooling plate and they never replied. :ugh2:

DEpointfive0 09-23-2013 10:42 AM

They're local, once I get my car back I'd like to see which ones ACTUALLY "fit" and I'll see if I can make a mass offer on them

pty370z 09-23-2013 12:34 PM

Not only that, but their own website claims they're shutting down. Unless they're renaming the company to escape their reputation. :rofl2:

Bad quality will follow you not matter what, there have very few companies who can dig out of deep graves in the auto industry.

edub370 09-26-2013 10:11 PM

100% sure that they're not shutting down. their Facebook page indicators much. however trying to get pity sales from closing down is the sleaziest thing you can do. lost all respect for that company and encouraging nobody to buy from them...

Yup. Apparently, they're just moving to a new facility. It's pretty damn shady, though, to do what they did and how they did it.

On the bright side, maybe I can press them now for a response regarding the POS cooling plate.
