My local dealer just got 2 base Zs with the sport package and 6 speed. One is black and the other is red. I dont know which color to buy. I havent been this confused on a choice in a long time. I love both colors. Convince me please. Pros/Cons if any? :tiphat:

I forgot to add that the windows will be limoed out, and the taillights will be tinted on which ever one I buy right of the bat.

Well, black is beautiful. But it's about your commitment to keeping the car looking good. How often do you wash your car? If your answer is less often than once a week, you might not have the commitment it takes to keep your black looking good.

Black is nice. My Z is black but keeping it clean sucks!

I have always wanted a black car, and this will be my first new car, but I think the red shows the lines of this particular car better. On the other hand, Mike brings up a good point. :bowrofl:

Nothing specials, just realize that every swirl and scratch shows much more easily than other colors. My 07 Accord was silver, and while the color wasn't thrilling it sure hid dirt and scratches like a champ!

silver masks all, mind you that all colour swirl the same...just some hide it better

That's why some people choose Silver. less maintenance

black is the most rewarding

That's only cuz they couldn't keep white in stock, so everyone settled on other colors :D

< had to kill three people to get white.

I actually love the Z in white. I would have happily taken that color if it was all they had in stock.

I wonder why white is so popular on this vehicle. Im n ot to fond of it personally.

Well before I ever saw the Z in person I really wanted the blue, but there were not any in whole pacific NW when I was buying. My local dealer had two red ones, but I did not want red at all. The closest one to me was 100 miles away and had all the options that I wanted, in black which was a second or third choice. I love it, but would have been happy with blue or white as well.
