Not to defend the guy, but you do realize there are plenty of knocked over cones on courses to denote direction and "loading/parking" areas, right?

Sorry, never saw the emoticon when replying... I'm so used to the smileys on forums these days the original emoticons kind of slip my view.

Lou, A virtual beer for you, my good man... sounds like you may need it.

Lol - I'm old school. I turn off the slick smilies on the forums that let you do that or use ones that don't translate to an icon....

As for the rear end on this car being a ball bearing I figured it was the opposite. Of course if you keep the wheels spining its gonna keep coming around - don't know of any car that doesn't. I found the car really hooks up quickly when you get off the throttle.... kinds the opposite of a ball bearing....

Yeah...My experience is you really have to work hard to get this car to break loose. What with the 140 treadwear tires, LSD etc it sticks very well...
The only car to really lose it in our Aqua-X last weekend was an AWD Audi.... (and NO, I didn't knock down all those cones..:-))

Maybe I'm just too hard on the throttle w/ cornering trying to get it to get loose. It takes a lot to get it loose IMO, and once it gets loose, it's "very" loose - I mean, it doesn't re-grab as well as I expect.

Either way, I'm not going to bother trying to figure it out...

Sorry if it offended, but the street is really no place to be getting sideways. It puts you and others at risk and is hardly an indication of your manhood. When I was on the corvette forum, guys were always doing this, always blaming the car, and sometimes causing sgnificant damage to their cars and innocent bystanders cars. I'm all about car control and smoothness.. If you're not, and the "nannies" are turned on, unexpected things can happen. Usually to save your butt but sometimes surprising enough to get you into more trouble by over-reacting to their attemps to get you back in control. Guys who see their VDC kicking in all the time are not really very good drivers. Too many drift videos out there I guess..and too many stunt drivers on this forum...Sorry I took i out on you.

Hopefully Lou will know what's going on in the morning..

Not to go off-track too badly, but, part of having a car like this one is pushing your limits, and until you find and/or break a limit, you'll never know what those limits are in case you have to rely on them.

That said, the times I get "stupid" with mine, are country roads in areas I travel a lot and have visibility and clear traffic - ie, the only person in "danger' is myself.

And, I've discovered this car acts like the rear end is a giant ball bearing ONCE it breaks loose - it REALLY breaks loose. Going straight is all good, but doing it while turning this car (for a powerslide, for example) it will zip the ***-end around faster than anything I've ever owned.

Nope, or anything that had more than 200HP, or something with a "locking" rear-end...

Either way, I think I'm done jacking with that. 2 times is enough.
