No down payment? Who said anything about that? I had a nice down payment. I don't remember the exact amount, but it was enough to avoid PMI and not have to get an 80/20 loan. It came from working my way through school.

Look, you're taking all of this way too seriously and coming off like a complete douche. You made a dumb post, and people gave you grief about it. oh dear you work part time in college and you are able to pay for your tuition and afford 80% on a house lol I should consider move to Texas. Apparently it is chep like communism there.

2. an 80/20 loan does not mean you paid 80% for the house.

I'm guessing the OP didn't get a degree in finance if the first thing he did upon graduation is run out and buy a depreciating liability.
