Nope. All you have accomplished by this point in your life is preamble. You've basically joined the rest of the productive world. You've graduated from college (financed by the Bank of Dad, or loans?) and financed a $40k car. Get back to us when your assets are greater than your liabilities, and you have accomplished something in your adult life. You're on the right track, but you honestly haven't done **** yet. I didn't buy a car fresh out of college. I bought a house. At 22. The brand new car (2004 STI) came a year later.
