I consider myself very much a convertible person, but looking back at this list, only about half of these were/are convertibles which actually surprises me.

...Does a 1991 ford escort GT and a 1994 Eagle Talon count as sporty...? If not,
2009 370Z.

I had an 04 R32 in blue, but sadly can't dig up any pictures of that car. Lots of fun, made a great noise...

04 Subaru STi with a few key modifications.

07 Subaru STi with many modifications. Built bottom end, fuel system, intake, exhaust, all the suspension bushings and powertrain mounts replaced, brakes etc. This thing was a champion.

08 BMW 135i. Ferocious in a straight line, superb brakes, but sadly a very weak suspension which required a lot to be competitive and well balanced. Horribly unreliable.

09 Nissan 370Z. Stock, love it. Will see some key upgrades for HPDE after the winter, but a fantastic sports car all around.

I'm on about 35-40 cars now, but as for sports cars:
5 70-73 240z's
90 Z32TT
03 350z
09 370z
85 Maserati biturbo E
10 Z4
08 Z4
05 C6

There have been a lot of sporty cars, but those are the true sports cars out of the bunch.
