*NEW* Dyno results are in....

So, here are the three dyno results I've had so far with my 370Z. The first one is totally stock, the second has Berk HFC's & Stillen Dual Exhaust and Intake, and finally the last one is from today which has everything installed in my signature:

I realize the second one looks weird but when they gave me the print out I didn't notice they had used white for the graph and a white graph on white paper = no graph. :p

Thanks Tony. You happy with the results?

the 11k price tag includes other non performance related things... Im sure the boltons + tune costs much less

Good point. What is the cost of the performance parts (including install) Tony?

Maybe someone can clear this up but it seems that when people dynoed individualy these mods that there were gains of 15+hp. However from what I've been seeing from people like you who have all these mods put on and then dynoed it seems the total hp gain from intake, exhuast, and HFC is around 25. I know ricer math doesn't apply but I would have thought with all the good gains we've seen from these mods individually that there would be more than a ~25hp gain total.

To the OP, nice numbers and nice Z.

it was probably 5k for the bolt-ons with labour

kdoske 08-07-2009 06:12 PM

It definitely seems like if you want to make some more power for only a few more grand you might as well just go with a turbo or supercharger.

I'm favorable of the supercharger because I think this car is missing so lower RPM torque. I for one am happy with the power it has and have no intention of modifying the engine.

The most expensive upgrade? The wheels & rims....$5500 in that alone. Also, about $2000 in labor charges. So, that leaves about $5000 for all the other items (give or take).

And yes, I'm glad I did all this! And the tire rub? Not an issue....it seems one of the plastic clips on the inside of the fender is doing it. What I was told by DDMotorsports and also Altered today....the problem will work itself out. What I thought were rub marks are actually just little pieces of plastic......a good cleaning of the tires and it might just look as good as new....so no, I haven't nor will I be raising the car.....AGGRESSIVE LOOK STAYS! hahaha!

I think it's about perfect where it is. If you want to add forced induction, at least you have a good foundation to get the most out of it. :D
