so, it's been awhile since the drop, did u get an alignment ??

I was discussing that with Altered today. I haven't yet but plan on getting one next weekend. Also discussed the possibility of an ECU flash, too.

:iagree: I went back to the Nissan dealer I purchased the car from and set up an appointment for the TPMS on Monday and when I was getting ready to leave a couple young guys were walking around looking at the cars on the lot and I noticed one did the :icon08: as he was checking out the tires and rims. :p

Not an issue....it seems one of the plastic clips on the inside of the fender is doing it. What I was told by DDMotorsports and also Altered today....the problem will work itself out. What I thought were rub marks are actually just little pieces of plastic......a good cleaning of the tires and it might just look as good as new....so no, I haven't nor will I be raising the car.....AGGRESSIVE LOOK STAYS! hahaha!
No it will not work itself out!

Extreme, take it from me, you dont want to **** with the tire rubbing on that clip. The 'pre-sets' on my coilovers were very low and it rubbed on everything. I have already trimmed and dremmel'd that metal clip down (under the lining its a nasty metal sharp type of clip). I have the SAME setup as you in the front and if stays low, its going to rub on everything and eventually eat your tire. It didnt do it as much when I went from the 275s to 265s but it improved 100% when I went to do the corner balancing and alignment. No more rubbing on anything what-so-ever. My look isnt any less aggressive than yours either. I would first be safe and do the corner balancing/alignment then cut if needed!

 Oh! So, since I don't want to loose that aggressive look, I'll need to take nogood's advice and now yours and trim the car. What about if I take the car to a body shop and have them roll the fenders? That was discussed as an option today, too.

Looks like you have two things I haven't done yet: corner balancing and the alignment....hopefully after those are done it will stop?

I have to ask.....what is corner balancing? Is that something that can be done (or will be done) at the time of the alignment or do I have to speciffically ask for it?

I can bring my dremel up tomorrow and we could do some parking lot trimming...

HAHA, im kidding :)

Oh and btw...im gonna *fap fap* all over the side of your car...so make sure to take pics from only one side.

nogoodname 08-07-2009 07:46 PM

nah man, no fender rolling, the fenders are rolled already enough and one mistake and the paint can crack.

Yeah, Clint & Jae @ Altered mentioned the possibility of messing up the paint.....don't wanna solve one issue by causing another. ;)
