This sounds like a reference to concerns over turbos; shutting down with red hot turbos can be bad.

Irrelevant for your NA car (or for turbos with proper oiling/cooling).

I feel very fortunate as I never heard any of this until I'd had my turbo for ten years. Then I started following above recommendation most of the time. I just kept my oil clean.

not really if you plan on driving it on a daily basis for more than 10miles at a time (180F oil temp, no steam coming out from exhaust).

in the winter time during hibernation i dont start my car cause i dont want moisture in my exhaust system.
