New Sport seats for 2010 370z?

1 Attachment(s)
I dont know if you have notices that new 2010 370z roadster has new sporties seats, better the ones in curretn 370z coupe, does that mean that the 2010 version of 370z will get these newer sportier seats. Lets hope so...
here is the pic....

im pretty sure that is only for the roadsters. Reason being, they are cooling and heating seats.

I see your point, but this also might be the new feature for the 2010 version coupe, I guess we'll wait and see...

I would think the heated and cooled seats would be exclusive to the roadster simply because they are more necessary. With the top down you need all the help you can get.

The design itself looks the same. The difference is the cooling option. The fake suede on the current touring seats is so comfy I find that I never wish I had the cooling option.

The changes for the 2010 coupe:

Nissan/Infiniti News Room

2010 Nissan 370Z Coupe
Following the total redesign of the iconic Z® for the 2009 model year, changes for 2010 are minimal – an enhanced Nissan Navigation Package with XM NavTraffic® Real-Time Traffic Information (XM® subscription required, sold separately), Bluetooth® Streaming Audio and automatic phonebook download (select phones), 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive and a Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System. The 2010 370Z Coupe also receives standard heated mirrors and in-cabin microfilter, along with one new exterior color.

The 370Z will again be available in two models, 370Z and 370Z Touring, each available with a standard 332-horsepower 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift Control (VVEL) and choice of 6-speed manual transmission with an available SynchroRev Match™ synchronized downshift rev matching system or a 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Crisp handling is once again provided by a refined 4-wheel independent suspension.

Revisions for 2010 include:

•Standard heated outside mirrors
•Standard in-cabin microfilter
•Navigation Package adds Bluetooth® Streaming Audio and automatic phonebook download (select phones)
•iPod® connectivity is changed to USB connectivity
•Black Cherry exterior color replaces Chicane Yellow

Living in phoenix, if they made cooling seats, I would have to retrofit. :D

edeeZee 08-06-2009 08:50 PM

Those convertible-only seats are nice, they should be in the regular Z's. I never liked the 350 nor 370 seats much--they look kinda bulky and clumsy.

semtex 08-07-2009 08:18 AM

Cooling seats would be awesome for those days when I'm feeling gassy. (j/k)

RogueDPS 08-07-2009 09:37 AM

Heated mirrors will be great for those in winter climates. It's the one one thing mine didn't come with that I wish it had.

FuszNissan 08-07-2009 09:39 AM

Probably just for the convertible

Shunya 08-07-2009 09:47 AM

wooo then u can have cool butts in a hot day~!

theDreamer 08-07-2009 09:48 AM

I would love to have the cooling seats, Texas heat sucks, but I think these are for the convertible only. :(

Shunya 08-07-2009 09:53 AM

I'm pretty sure some one will get bucket seats :)

havasuwiley 08-07-2009 04:07 PM

I came SO close to buying a lincoln for that exact the reason. That v8 one they stopped making a couple years ago, forgot the name now.

370Z_Fan 08-07-2009 06:46 PM

Anyone know if the roadster will have heated side mirrors like the 2010 coupe?

WShade 08-07-2009 07:55 PM

No microfilter in my car???? Are you serious :shakes head:

lynxbat 08-08-2009 10:26 AM

I wonder if the nav will be software upgradable for 2009 peeps.

need4speed 08-08-2009 05:06 PM

I don't think so. 2nd n 3rd year nissans always double up from the 1st year models. Those seats n those features will be in all models. U just see them in the converible now because this is the car that debuts 1st in october.
Nissan has actually deleted features in past roadsters to accommodate the convertible's excessive weight.
I was gonna buy a last pics 09 370z but with those 2 new hot colors.
Black cherry
40th anniversary charcoal graphite. I'm in the 10 model. No question!

ZForce 08-08-2009 05:52 PM

Black Cherry.... I have not seen one yet in the flesh, but if its anything like the Brickyard or Interlagos Fire then I will be tempted to trade in or sell my Platinum Graphite.

If the tradition for Nissan follows the same path with the Black Cherry like they did with the Brickyard. It came out the second year and lasted one year and then became an instant classic color to have. And the same for the 06 InterlagosFire, only here for one year and again now a classic rare color. If history repeats itself, then the Black Cherry will follow the same tradition. Imho...I hope so.

k....back on topic....I would like to see in future models these seats as standard equipment or least offered in the Touring model.

Endgame 08-08-2009 06:44 PM

I wish we had Opal Black like the Spec v...

That color is HAWT!!!

I think ur guess is an educated one and feel the possibility of ur predictions are very high!
