Default oil cover

Thanks guys, that is what I thought, but after the dealer changed the oil I noticed that the temp was running 15 degrees hotter so I called them back and asked what kind of oil they put in and they said penzoil semi synthetic so I will be running Red Line from now on. He said not to worry as long as it stays below 260. But that seems kind of high to me.

The Red Line will help the temps. Nothing will help it more than an oil cooler.

Default oil cooler

I though starting in 2010 they put oil coolers on all 370z's.

2012, and it's a oil-to-water unit. Very much a compromise solution.

more likely it would help engine venting, but at the expense of higher speed stability due to the high pressure zone in the engine bay being able to easily vent into the low pressure zone (produced from the front aero spoiler), increasing front end lift.

Missing under piece to bumper/front lip?

panel fell off... what's the purpose?

It has fallen off for a number of people. Some due to debris on the road some just for no reason just speed.

Usually its only the smaller plastic strip part 75895 which is held on only by a few pins. Which is only a few hundred dollars. The larger part 74811 usually only come off partially and gets damaged.

For me the first time I didn't even realize that the small was just missing when i did my first oil change and got a replacement from the dealer. The second time the I was able to pull over to the highway shoulder before the smaller piece came off completely but it had ripped the bigger piece while it was dragging. It took some effort to get it replaced because they assumed I hit something but there was no sign of any impacts on the under body and they replaced the whole thing. Finally not too long ago the smaller piece fell off partially again but there was no area to pull off to the side and eventually flew off. So I have on order a new aluminium which will not come off and is less then half the price of the Nissan plastic.
