I've always wanted to carry a gas cab in the car, but the benefit doesn't outweigh the risk
I was only talking about myself. sorry for being selfish. Lol
I don't AAA.

My weekend drive is only 2 hr long and farthest is 45min from home.
Asking wife to bring gas vs AAA will be about the same time.
My fuel is never below one dot above half.

I wanted to buy a tank anyway for multiple purpose, not just for this.

No dots would freak me out. I get paranoid at one dot and the dread ---

You want to run this car hard and won't spend 5 minutes swapping the fluids? Here is the difference the fuel starvation and most of the problems you mentioned. You can fix them!!! I can eliminate most of the fluid boiling by swapping the PS fluid, cost $10 and 5 minutes of my day. The same goes to clutch and brake fluid (I do think the clutch is an issue, my transmission bearing is roaring at the drive thru). If you plan to track the car, you have to be kidding yourself that you can just go with a car off the dealer and expect to be fast. You might be able to do it with a slow Miata, but any cars that can go at a decent clip will need a brake overhaul, it's simple math. Also you have to ask if the factory is being reasonable too. I don't expect them to have racing brake pads for me off the shelf, I don't expect them to have a baffle that would allow me to go down to nearly empty. Yet I expect a reasonable design that would give me at least half a tank before I starve.

You are worried about couple paint chips over a car that shuts down with over 10+ gallons in it? You better hope it doesn't happen to you while you have a giant truck coming fast behind you on the highway. It happened to me just a few months back with half a tank in the car. If you want to bring a 5 gallon gas tank behind you, I will gladly show it to you.

Why does my clutch get spongy and stick after a few track days, even under normal aggressive driving, how shítty is this CSC?

Why aren't we trying to fight a more prevalent problem like the CSC that is made of plastic and gives out anywhere from 10-50k miles. And that requires the transmission to be dropped? What about, the fuel gauge issue, does ANYONE's work properly? Better yet still!!! What about the shítty paint?!?!?! Why do I have to put ugly clear bra on my car for $1000 when I just spent $40k on a car? Recall? Buy back?
The clear bra costs as much as the fix for the fuel pump, and you might be able to install it yourself, while the clear bra takes more finesse, but no one is gunning for Nissan for that. (All I'm saying is that if we're holding them accountable for this $1000, or that $1000 or that $500 or whatnot, make sure you hold them accountable for ALLLLLLLL the problems)

I think the CSC problem way more a PIA than fuel starve, and didn't someone fix fuel starve with a coffee can?

So, recall, I doubt, TSB, I doubt unless people complain enough, even then, I don't see a solution (maybe change the fuel pump if it had been run dry a few times)
