Shipping Engine and Car

Does anybody have a good contact for shipping a motor and then later the car? I am trying to drop my engine off at Z1 from NC get it back then ship my car back to Z1 for tuning.

If you're going to go to expense of shipping, my advice is just go all the way and ship the car to Seb at SpecialtyZ. It's not going to be that much more expensive and from following the posts on twinturbo.net for many years, you will be much happier with Seb's work. As for shipping, I've used Direct Auto Shippers a couple of times and been satisfied; but know that you can find cheaper alternatives.

The purpose to this process is?
Then we'll discuss shipping

Did you ask Z1? They might have several ideas.

Let Z1 schedule the pick up and you pay the bill later its much cheaper and less headache for both of you. its a win win shipping.

The purpose is if you have been following my thread on nitrous a while back, like about a year ago I messed my motor up which could be a number of things but it all points to the tune. So I purchased one from Jon and I have to give him my motor in exchange for the one they sold me. Once I put the motor back in I will be taking it back to Jon for him to tune.

I haven't asked Z1 yet I just recently thought about this as I was going to have someone drive my car down their for the tune.

Just ship them the car and have them do the engine swap. Probably cheaper in the long run

I already have the motor pretty much out, not to mention I don't want to pay for labor charges for the removal and installation of the motor.

I still think it would be cheaper and less risk to send them the car as it sits

Name your price, let someone pick it up and you're off.
