So this morning I'm taking out the trash and I had my Z parked outside. My heart dropped when I realized my side windows were GONE.
First thought? Someone broke into my car. I immediately start thinking of my stereo and anything else I may have left in there. But upon inspection, no glass anywhere. Huh... I peak inside my car and everything is there, stereo, iPod cable, pretty much anything that totally would have been taken and or vandalized. So my common sense kicks in after adrenaline, the windows are rolled down. Now, I never do this. When I drive, I usually only have them partially down anyway. In fact, I can never think of a time I have the windows fully down. In addition, I have never left my windows down after parking for any period of time over 5 minutes. Or ever really. Even if I do for whatever reason, the sound and feel of the door closing would immediately trigger a "oh **** my window is down." There's just no way I left my windows rolled all the way down. So am I crazy or is there is some rare defect where this could have done it on its own? |
