Though the point is, is it worth waiting instead of just purchasing and having fun now. And if something new comes out, he can always buy mods or even do a trade in for the newer Z as he is buying a used one. Diminishing value will have already hit picking up used so the value of the car will hold even with the announcement of a new Z.
