You're looking for the best exhaust for a FI'd Z, but it has to be under $700? That's not going to happen. The best one you'll find for a turbo Z is either GTM or Fast Intentions' 3" exhaust, but they're way more than $700. That's not a realistic budget.

How exactly is an exhaust system reliable? I'm not sure exactly what you mean.
A good exhaust on this platform is $1200+. A good 3" exhaust is $1500+. Maybe you should go look around in the for sale section. You won't find a 3" exhaust, but that may be overkill anyway depending on how much power you're looking for.

Something doesn't add up here.
You're spending 8 grand on a FI kit from GTM, but your budgeting 700 bucks for a full exhaust? Arguably you could spend a few hundred bucks on a dump tube, as FI engines need little to no back pressure. Buy a cat delete dump pipe for a few hundred bucks....

At least 8k for the kit. And to do it right, another 2-4k in supporting mods in addition to the exhaust. Either your total build budget is too small, or you haven't done enough homework. Don't cut corners on a build like this.

If you want to know how to do it right and why you want to go that way talk to Tony from Fast Intentions. They have been doing a lot of work and testing on their TT design and Tony does a good job cutting through the BS.

So you're buying a TT kit that's going to cost you roughly $10K once it's all said and done, but you want a cheap exhaust that costs no more than $700?
Seems legit.

Probably closer to 15k than 10k if you do it right and don't cut corners.

Just like the others have stated but I will put it to you like this. Do it right or don’t do it at all. You’re going to dump that much money into the motor but half a$$ on the exhaust. That makes no sense. If your dumping 15k into the car then what’s another 15 hundred for the exhaust? Not to mention have you even considered the tune.

If you're going to skimp do it on aero. No one seems to give a crap if your kit is genuine or a knock off so...
Yeah...I went there! #threadhijack

Totally off topic, but a more descriptive title, and making the thread in the correct sub forum might get you more views and answers.

We answered his question. It wasn't the answer he wanted, but it was the right answer.
