Honestly a 4 cyl turbo with 315 hp by Nissan vs a 6 cyl NA motor say 350hp would make the 4 cyl the faster in the long run better option. The 4 cyl is lighter and a boosted car can put down great power for cheap. Not only would the 4 cyl be close to the 6 for 0-60 but would take a couple thousand to make it a beast where as the 6 cyl would take 6K plus to make minimal power added... My buddy had a 271hp EV0 8 (like 241 to the wheels) he spent 750 dollars and put 300 hp to the wheels... Boosted cars are muc easier to squeeze power out of for little money. Nissan would be doing tha same game as Hyundai with the genesis couple 4 cyl turbo wih 275hp and the V6 3.8 with 350hp... If each car was given 3K to spend on mods the turbo would come to be the same if not faster then the 6 cyl.
