is this fixable by a respray?

As some of you may know I managed to hit my front end:(

I took my license plate off and noticed two "v" shaped indentations where it was pressing against the plastic of the frame... I put one in a picture, and there are some rock chip like marks (as shown) plus a long scratch (12 inches or so)

will a respray fix all of this? I had gotten a quote and the dealer said it would but that was before I saw the "v" indents... and it was $687

anyone have any recommendation on if I should find a cheaper body shop? Do other body shops color match? (brilliant silver)

Also one last question, theres probably some threads on this but not sure... How would Dr. Colorchip be on this?

That is going to take a little fill.

I have scuff all the way through the paint on the outer edge of my bumper cover from a piece of 2X4 that was in the road. Body shop quoted me $450 for a repair, which included removal of the bumper, prep and respray of the whole bumper. The shop would also take care of any deep chips on the bumper, so when done will be like new. I would suggest at least taking to a good local shop for a quote, and probably a better price.

Yeah that's what I'm going to do... Thanks

Going to need a fill as Felix stated above, but $300-450 is what you should spend, depends if they take the bumper off or not.
And I recommend YOU do it, if you know how to, because they MIGHT not know where all the pop clips and BS are

A good general rule of thumb is if you can feel it, it needs a respray. However, you can tough it up to where it's hardly noticeable if you take your time and are careful.

you'll need soem touch up paint and some clear coat. Once you touch up the spot and let it dry, dab a layer of clear over it. Then wet sand the area flat. Progress with 1200 then 1500 and lastly 2000 grit wet sand paper. Then buf the area out and re-wax

op- you'll need to get professional body work for that, not some touchup job. :)

honestly if my car had that, would just run the front plate and use the funds elsewhere.

It would be a great time to shave the front emblem if you ever wanted to before body work & repainting it. ;)
