Default Odd sound when pushing clutch in

Whenever I push the clutch in there's a loud click and you can feel it in the clutch pedal as well. It's happens around 2 inches or so of travel when I push the clutch pedal in. And, it happens in any situation. In neutral, any gear, car on or off, while driving or stopped. If it matters I have a 2013 with about 7,500 miles and I didn't noticed this till recently. I'm assuming this can't be normal. Any idea what it could be?

have you taken a close look with a flash light? push the pedal with your hand while you look closely at the entire pedal assembly when you hear the click.

on my Z, there is like a deeper thunk kind of noise since day one about 1-2" when i depress the clutch.

I don't have any noise with mine. Good you mentioned yours is 13'. Why don't you bring it back to dealership and have it checked. It should be free.

I have the dreaded '09 and if my clutch passes without making a noise, I'd go have it checked while its free.

My 2012 @ 4K has started doing the same about 2" from the bottom I can hear it and feel it I have had the car since new, about 4 months old / or should say off the lot.

I will have it check at the next oil change, but if you find out what it is let me know.

I also experienced this problem on my 2013 Z. It appeared after about 200 to 300 miles, lasted for a couple of days and then disappeared. Based on a quick inspection, it appeared that the push rod in the pedal assembly was catching on something in the master cylinder. Anyway, with what I read in the forum about problems with clutch shudder and feel, I said forget this and went with the RJM pedal assembly. If you can put up with the 3-4 hours installing the RJM assembly in very cramped quarters, it is well worth it. The clutch pedal operation and feel are much improved over stock, with a virtual absence of any shudder. The push rod operates smoothly, with no sticking or catching. The installation instructions were clear. I highly recommend it. That said, it you prefer to stay with the stock assembly, I'd have the problem checked out while the vehicle is under warranty.

Been out of town at a wedding, thanks for all the replies everyone. Tomorrow I'll get a flashlight and look to see if the pedal is hitting anything. I drove the car briefly today and didn't notice the sound, so go figure.
I've never heard of the RJM pedal assembly but after googling it real quick sounds like a good might. I might actually get this...
