Default Looking at 370z,Observations and a Question

I have an 04 Infiniti G35 with the 6MT that's been a great car but I'm ready for something else. I'm 54, learned how to drive off road in a dune buggy at age 14 and have always owned some type of performance car. I've pretty much settled on a Touring/Sport 6MT and have narrowed it down to a couple of colors. Here's the dilemma: not much inventory out there right now, and the Nissan website is inaccurate regarding what are supposed to be available at dealer's lots. I've visited 2 dealers within about 15 miles of my city and neither had the cars listed. I have yet to see a Touring Model to check the leather colors but there are plenty with the Sport option. Too many automatic transmissions out there too. Reminds me of the late 1970's when they first started offering the auto trans and the Z car turned into what we used to call "secretary specials" as more women were buying them than men. I'm glad they still offer a real sports car. One dealer has a used 370z on the lot with a little less than 5K miles. I wanted to check the interior out even though it was cloth. I opened the door and about gagged on the cigarette smell. Way to sell a car huh ? So I think I'm just going to find a friendly dealer and tell him what my "must haves" are and wait until they locate a car even if I have to wait for a 2010. I'm anxious to see what the new 40th Ann. Graphite color looks like and the new red interior. If it's a deep, rich cherry red leather that's the car for me. Question: Looking at the front end up close and down low, I saw what looks like a condenser, maybe 12" x 5" in the lower left quadrant of the grill opening. Is that a condenser for the A/C, or is Nissan shipping with an oil cooler all of a sudden ?
Back to lurk mode, and thanks for all of the good info. And a few laughs.

Thanks for the answer about the power steering cooler. I'll check with Scott at Fontana Nissan when I'm ready to buy. I don't mind driving 100 miles or so to pick up a car if I can't find one locally or the dealers are uncooperative.

our dealer sponsors here are great, I would try and give them business over any other dealer if any of them were remotely close to me. As it is I had to drive 150 miles to pick mine up anyway :/
