questions
so i heard a rattle on the driver's rear side and took it to dealership. forum made it sound like it would be an easy axle-greasing fix, but turned out to be a destroyed rear brake assembly. thank the gods for warranty, cuz i have never raced or drifted her(bought her new last year). so my friend lets me borrow her brz for the weekend...
um, this brz is a blast around corners going even 25(the speed limit in town). feels like a gokart! doesnt roll like my z, but it sure does slide more. also, the car has less power, but i like the low rev throttle response better than my car too. i have swifts, maf tubes and berk hfcs. i am wondering guys, can i do anything to my car to make it ride and throttle respond like this brz, or is it impossible and i should look into selling my z and buying one of these things. i really do love my z, but this brz handles and responds so well. if it is a simple coilover, sway bar fix that would be cool, but the dealer warned me of warranty and ecu modding. thanks guys

every car has its goods and bads. The Z kicks the brz *** in terms of speed and power. So, would you rather go to 60 in less than 5 seconds, or have a little better handling and go to 60 in 7 seconds?

Throttle lag is noticeable in the z, not sure if there's any way around it. The brz is tossable because it is light. The z won't match that.
The z is faster, though. And I think it looks better and is less common. Do what you like though. yolo and whatnot |

I do not like the Brz looks like a toy to me, I drove my friends and it did take turns real nice. But I rather stick to my Z more power less Z out there.

Imo a car with backseats and 4 cyl or any car with a a 4 cyl is not even in the same class. It's in the small roadster class like Miata, which may be a fun car if you put a SC on it. But to me the Z is about Image, It's history, it's
combination of style, handling and performance.. Oh and the exhaust note.. To each his own though.. |

An M3 owner and track guy, bought a BRZ and has brought it out to our track club events. I am so not impressed with it at Sears Point and Laguna Seca. The Z is so much more car, even with his tire upgrade.
If you want tossablillity, get a Lotus to compete with the Z.
