Seriously though, hope you get it fixed quickly and properly. :tiphat:

Wow talk about bad luck. Looks things are on the upswing though and you're getting taken care of. Sucks its costing you, but hopefully its finally done right and you can enjoy the Z once again.

Nope, not a god damn call since LAST Wednesday when I called them

ShutokuZ 08-09-2013 12:36 PM

OT, Andrew, what do you know about Carson Nissan? I am thinking of switching to them, since Surf City is giving me the run-around on some work they did on my car......

Damn... Surf city is highly rated and recommended...
Carson is OK, what work are you getting done?

And off topic, it just hit me, is your avatar a Banksy?

ShutokuZ 08-09-2013 12:43 PM

I will PM you what is going on with them to keep this thread on-topic.
And Bansky as in the artist?

LOL!!! Yeah, I know it's a panda with guns

ShutokuZ 08-09-2013 03:10 PM

Nope not Banksy although it does look like his style. It is by Julien d Andon who designed it for Bad Panda Records.

Rusty 08-09-2013 03:23 PM

Andrew, I really feel for you. Talk about sh!t. If anyone that needs to go postal. It's you.

Yeah they suck balls, whenever I roll my cars home I always go to Gardena Nissan. My advisor there Vern has been there since the 80's and remembers when I had my 1st 87 Max SE still, and moma's old 83 280ZX.

Zbrah 08-09-2013 03:47 PM

Done, I'll be there early hopefully

jpritche 08-09-2013 04:27 PM

Andrew, I am sorry to hear nothing has been resolved.

GM first refused to buy my truck back. I then demanded a 6yr 75k bumper to bumper which they gave me.

There is a thread on the Silverado forum which has over 13k views and rapidly rising and has been shared on like 8 other websites/forums.

I get a call from GM today. He said he saw the thread and wants to know what it will take to make me happy. I said a brand new truck. He said ok, I will have an answer for you Monday since its too late today.

That shows you the power of social media. If you create enough buzz, they will fix this under warranty. I hope everything works out for you buddy.

Updated op!

DEpointfive0 08-12-2013 09:10 PM

And I'm considering the Jun cams, but I really can't find definitive proof as to whether they work!

Zbrah 08-12-2013 09:18 PM

Looks like things are going in the right direction for you bro, slowly, but at least it's a step closer to your plan.mdid Check under you seats? there maybe couple 20's stashed under there! =P jk let me know if you need anything.

ShutokuZ 08-12-2013 11:12 PM

Sound like everything is going to work out!
On the Jun cams, I had 272/272 cams in my Skyline and they produced more power than even the 272/272 Tomei's I had in there previous!

Whathuh? Skyline?

The problem I have with the cams is that Jun tested it with 100 octane or whatever, and I don't think anyone here has a real before and after. (Or I don't want to sort through 194 pages of BS)

ShutokuZ 08-12-2013 11:46 PM

True, I was running 105 octane most of the time.

theDreamer 08-13-2013 07:05 AM

No one has results of the JUN cams, the guy in Guam does not have a dyno so cannot see if there are results. Another set that went to the UAE I believe never got installed as he went for boost.
Also, the car JUN posted was using higher octane fuel AND higher compression (12:1 v 11:1 stock).

UNKNOWN_370 08-13-2013 08:14 AM

The cam and short tube header information for our cars is highly disappointing.

Yep, good, making sure I had the fact straight that there are no facts for the cams...

theDreamer 08-13-2013 08:47 AM

What a coincidence. That's exactly the feeling I got dealing with his dealership.

I know you're joking. I'm not.

Just CYA when you're dealing with that dealership. If you're looking for parts, maybe try Courtesy Nissan? I've always had a good experience dealing with them, but I've never bought anything as expensive as a whole head.

I've had great experiences with Courtesy, and I lived in Dallas and serviced my car there too, most expensive thing was $700 that I bought.

So far, FBParts is RAPING the competition price wise
