2 questions from new Z owner
Guys, I've had my Z for 2 weeks now and loving it.
But there are 2 questions that maybe you can all help me with. 1, My tire maintenance light came on. I looked at the manual and it talks about low pressure, but nothing about tire maintenance. All my tires were at 38psi. 2, again, looked at the break-in section of the manual and all it says is dont drive it hard for the first 1200 miles, but nothing about when to do the first oil change.... so when are you guys performing the first oil change? and are most of you guys taking it to the dealership first, or doing it your self and maybe switching to synthetic? thanks in advance. |
I'm doing mine after the first 1200 miles--I'm at 900 right now. I'm not sure if I am going to do the first one on my own though. Also not sure if I am going to synthetic after either.

First off, Congratulations. I picked up my Z two days ago and have been amazingly happy. Being an anal new owner, I read the manual cover to cover, I think your tire maintenance indicator is the result of the configurable maintenance notifications.

The first oil change, per the Service and Maintenance Guide, is at 3750 miles.
