2011 MB Base 6MT - 17960odo, I put 3k a month on it. I bought it in May with 8300 on it. I work 75miles away and it's my DD. My opinion is I'm not saving it for the next guy. Keeping it in the garage and playing with it on the weekend is a serious waste of a fun car. I actually feel shame towards people who do this. I've adjusted the timing on the ignition to add 3degrees, ironically I've picked up mileage doing this. I avg 30.5mpg on the interstate using premium with an avg speed of 78-82. Anyway, enjoy your cars guys, remember they're not investments, they will not appreciate in value. Cheers |

2012 base with Sport package bought in March 4th with 6239 miles, now at 10100 miles no issues at all. Note that at 9498 miles I started the mods that it will go on a different thread.

Nah, you just need some twisties & elevation changes. & throw in a daily driver
I could see where straight line speed would be lacking in FL.

2010 base 6 speed
12000 miles I just drive the car on weekends and and rarely during the winter. I was looking at used Caymans and 911,s. However, when I came across a new black base being discounted at the dealer by $5000.00 I could not resist.
I ended up paying 27000.00 plus tax and dealer conveyance fee. I owned a 1978 z when I was in my 20s. I enjoy the Z no 300 oil changes or IMS failures like certain Porsches. I wish they made an awd Z. I would have more miles. I'm thinking about a G37x coupe or a 3 series x drive coupe. |

2009 7AT bought new in 2009. Recall SLU item and replaced ambient temperature sensor---only mechanical issues to date. Other than that, runs beautifully. Uses no oil, etc. Just turned 12,000 mi. Added Katzkin leather interior and clearbra. Recreational car for this retired guy. We're out on sunny summer days and nice evenings, only. Will keep my Z as long as I'm able to drive it---hopefully 15 to 20 years for 75,000 miles or so.
