Hi there,
I really want to know what is the different between 300hp 370z and 400/500hp 370z. I always see some ppl post a dyno chart/video on youtube but say it's 400whp 500whp. I have no idea how fast are they. A stock 300hp 370z 0-60 is around 5. So what will a 400whp/500whp 370z get? 4.5? or just a bit quicker? Thanks. |

Go take a look at the 1/4 mile times threads. You're not going to see a huge difference 0-60. There's just not enough traction, and it just gets worse as the power goes up. Compare the fastest NA times to the fastest boosted times. It's a huge difference.

![]() but......i ran against a guy doing mid 11's the other weekend and he didnt seem that far ahead of me. def not 200 feet. i mean my perception of it from a driver seat may be skewed but doesnt seem that far ahead.

It adds up fast but the reason why Jnaut was so fast is he had all the upgrades he needed to put down the power. Jnaut was on slicks, 4.36 gears, upgraded LSD, weight reduction, full bolt-ons, tune, probably suspension of some sort.
Remember that our bolt ons are expensive as is but factor it all in. Exhaust for $1-1.5kk, intake for $600, LTH or shorty/test pipe combo average of about $1k, LSD $1-1.5k, Gears for $800, install of the gears $400-1k, tune with uprev $800, Clutch and Flywheel with upgraded CSC $1k, Slicks and wheels $1000, and I'm sure I'm missing stuff. According to that post.....only thing out of the ordinary from most peoples list is the gears. I'd hardly say close to $10k DEpointFive0 ![]()

A second in the 1/4 is huge. The difference in trap speeds was more what I'm getting at. That's where you're going to see the power. It's a difference of 12 mph between NA and FI.

There aren't many 11 second cars out there for $40-55k that aren't a Vette or Mustang/Camaro.
