One hot vert....
Got in the Z the other day and started to put the top down. After seeing the temp, continued putting the top down and very quickly turned the air to high and seat cooling on full.

IIRC, 116F was the highest I've seen while driving last year in scorching heat. It was so hot there was smell of burnt plastic in the engine bay and the A/C quit working. Oil temps peaked around 240-260F, and the water temps were in the danger zone!

After sitting in the sun for an afternoon, my Z always shows a ridiculously high temp (like 105 when it's really only 95 out). It goes back down after I drive it around a bit.
PS: I'd love cooled seats... |
That’s in the day. Try that temp at night in Vegas. That’s a trip.

At that time, yes. Right now though, we're at high humidity and high temps. Though, I was able to golf yesterday w/the rain clouds up above. Though, most people bitch about it being way too sticky out here, because they're used to that dryness. |
Ouch. 132 here in TX means the apocalypse is upon us. We usually just get 100 degrees and 100% humidity. It's pretty awful, but not 132 awful. I'm pretty sure Hell is only 125 or so.

It does drop down to the real temp shortly after, which wasn't much those days. Right now we're lucky if we hit 100 w/the monsoons, but it's supposed to be going up this week. :ugh2: |
