Beware: the extended warranty is not Nissan!

Can't you pay for the extended warranty up front instead of throwing it into the finance part?

Yeah. That's the way to do it. Most people roll it into the note, which is what I have a problem with.

Im with you Chuck

Just that we have different types of people out there some that prefer to pay for an extended warranty and not worry about future issues or the folks that save that money like you say and deal with it that way.

But WE also have the folks that say "The Hell with it" If it doesn't break down within the warranty it's all good, And drive it till the wheels fall off or look into getting rid of the car at the 5th or 6th year of ownership.

Both types of people are fine in my book as long as they're not paying 5% interest on that warranty they might never use. Most people trade cars every 3-5 years, still within the factory warranty period. The extended warranty money and interest just get pissed away. We don't get an accurate view of the average buyer here since enthusiasts tend to be a little better educated on the cars and the buying process. There are a lot of people who buy the warranty, finance it and ditch the car within the factory warranty for the trifecta of financial stupidity.

Yeah that is a dumb thing to do. Most legitimate warranty companies will actually refund your money if you a sell before the extended warranty is up.
