Rhino Ramps & Nismo 370z

ok guys, i need some help getting my car up on my ramps so i can change my oil, the ramps do not clear the front because of the front lip

now i read online about using phone books as a way to get some clearance on the GT86 forums but i dont know how safe that is

any help is appreciated

Place a couple 3ft. pieces of 2x8 boards (Lowes/Home Depot) in front of the ramps first.

does it need to be secured to the ramps? or is just placing it in front of the ramps will be sufficient?

im just afraid of having the car fall down because of the ramps slipping or something
